When did RAF switch to BAM100 Octane fuel? I wonder if maybe the tests that ED used were based on performance statistics using 87 octane as opposed to 100. However if RAF were almost exclusively using 100 Octane by the time they started rolling out merlin 66's then I dont see that being a factor

For the US, PilotEdge is my preferred service, although you do have to pay for it. The quality is a hundred times better though as a result IMO. Looking to dip my feet into some ATC simulators, and wondering if anybody has any suggestions or recommendations on which are best to try out. I know VATSIM has an ATC extension, and if im not mistaken X-plane has an ATC mod as well (could be wrong on that). I really have no idea where to start with...

It might be listed as Field of View as well. Also, what HOTAS are you using? Some guys have found pretty good methods for their specific HOTAS, if you have one similar we might be able to give you some better tips on what feels most comfortable for that specific joystick
