Re: In memory of Spike
Nicely done 610, and thank you to Bonkin. Fly safe, Spike
I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
Re: In memory of Spike
Thank you for your time and effort Bonkin, what a beautiful and moving video. Spike would be proud. Rest in peace Spike.

Re: In memory of Spike
Didn't know him but I am sure he would have been honoured to have had such a great tribute made for him.... well done Bonkin, and 610 Squadron and a typical display of spirit that made me want to join ACG.
RIP Spike

Re: In memory of Spike
Really well done Bonks. 610 and you have done him proud.
Re: In memory of Spike
It is always sad to hear of a fellow flight simer has passed away... Although i didnt get the pleasure of meeting Spike, im sure he was a great man, may he rest in peace... Great video.

Re: In memory of Spike
A very touching tribute, it even got me a bit teary eyed.
Re: In memory of Spike
Beautifully flown by 610, and beautifully edited by Bonkin. This is a prime example of what makes ACG so special. Not just the missions we fly, but the bonds we share.
Re: In memory of Spike
A wonderful tribute chaps! I did not know Spike but seeing someone go is always an awful pain.
May his family find solace in the thought that he now can spend eternity flying amoung «sun-split cloulds and swing high in a sunlit silence.»
Bravo to all involved and to Bonkin for his masterpiece.
Rest in peace.

What a lovely video. I never got to speek to Spike sadly. I hope he rests in peace
