ACG DiRT Rally league

Post by Thaine » Wed Jun 01, 2016 9:57 am

Frederf put up a DiRT Rally league for us: https://www.dirtgame.com/leagues/league ... mbat-group

Info:
How about everybody records the replays of his runs with the changing camera and no music? And I'll try to make some status report videos out of them.

I don't have the game yet.but what about the rules? Because the website says that Frederf used assists and Wolf didn't. That is probaby why there is such a time difference.

So is this just setting times and comparing them? no racing against each other?

The Leagues are really only for the Rally stages. Rally cross is a hosted Mulitplayer thing. Biggs and Propnut joined me last night in some Rally Cross, those cars are a blast to drive.

Giving the Rally Course on the League a shot, had a bit of a mishap. You don't see it but when the car flipped the driver pulled his hands in so the wheel wouldn't break his wrist. The attention to detail in this game is incredible!

Today I managed to finish the Finish rally... :roll:

Im not going to lie, it took several attempts at each stage before I was able to even finish, let alone put in a decent time.
Finland is one of the best, but man it can kick your ass!

How should we continue with this? Do you have any plans for the future Frederf? I would very much to keep this going. I'm more interested in the special stages, not so much the rally cross tbh. I could as well imagine that we meet on Teamspeak once in a while and do an event in one evening together. That means we run the stages one player after the other. Leader of the event is going out first and once he's finished the next gives it a go etc...

I swear I had a season planned out for the next week or two. I don't know what happened to it.

Anyone a new season is up. Group A, 4 events of 4 stages and 4 days for each! So many fours!!! Even class "A" looks like a four if you squint!!!!!

Excellent. May have to give this a go. Just getting back into my somewhat pitiful stride with the driving, and setting up the new wheel, but still struggling with the old gears. Once I feel more comfy with that then I'll try to join in with the season. :nice:

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.
