My little Typhoon

Post by Secu » Wed Aug 03, 2016 6:31 pm

Hi

Here is my new build, a Typhoon from the 439 Sqdr RCAF flew by F/O Hugh Fraser who downed two FW 190 and one Me 262 with this plane. He was based in Netherland during the winter 1945.
It's the Airfix 1/72 newtool kit, nice easy to build a real pleasure like all the new Airfix.

Just incredible, as usual. And one of my favourite aircraft!

Wonderful stuff Secu, I am very jealous of your skills :nice:

I must go up to the skies again, to the peace of silent flight, To the gull’s way, and the hawk’s way, and the free wings’ delight;
And all I ask is a friendly joke with a laughing fellow rover, And a large beer, and a deep sleep, when the long flight’s over.

Amazing detail... you even put little scratches where the exhaust blows! At this point, I'm not wholly convinced this is not a real plane...

Spectacular work!
